So there are Canberra tax payers who have “lost” or in other words, have not made a claim on their superannuation. The ATO reckons that $222m is “lost” or unclaimed in the ACT.
If the ATO knows the ACT postcodes of the “lost” or unclaimed superannuations then they would know the names of the individuals.
Surly the ATO could send them a letter and let them know they have “lost” or unclaimed superannuations and proof of identity would reunite them. Or have I missed something.
